Northrop Grumman’s short-range air defense (SHORAD) capabilities protect U.S. and allied forces from a wide range of manned and unmanned air and missile threats.

Our capabilities integrate sensors, weapons, and command & control to acquire, track, verify, engage and defeat current and evolving threats. Northrop Grumman is leveraging its work on IM-SHORAD to advance the Army’s shift to great-power focused, multi-domain operations, specifically for the Maneuver Short Range Air Defense mission.

RAM Warn

Rocket Artillery Mortar Warning (RAM Warn) provides early, localized warning of indirect fire threats to all Army maneuver Brigade Combat Teams (BCT). The RAM Warn system is a result of horizontal technology insertion using C-RAM warning capability, integrated with existing radars organic to the BCT.
