Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems wants you to join our Mission as a Part Time / On Call Casual Flight Tester. This position is located in Middle River, MD.
This position is Part Time / On Call.
In this role, you are responsible for piloting a King Air B200 to support programs out of Middle River, MD.
Your Duties include:
Determines flight routes, speed, and take off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements.
Use your knowledge of federal and local flight regulations.
Take full control of aircraft while in flight.
Pilot or co-pilot a sophisticated single or multi-engine fixed or rotary wing aircraft.
Inspects vehicle for safety, fuel, oil and water before departure. Ensures proper aircraft maintenance and operational readiness.
Maintains accurate records and logs.
Ensures compliance with pilot warrantee requirements as specified by current provisions of aircraft insurance policies and licensure requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree and minimum of 9 years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree or Technical diploma and a minimum of 11 yrs of experience, or a High School diploma and a minimum of 13 yrs of relevant experience may also be considered.
Ability to stay current with federal and local flight regulations.
Be capable of taking full control of aircraft while in flight.
Possess FAA pilot certificate with necessary type ratings.
Maintain the ability to Pilot or co-pilot a sophisticated single or multi-engine fixed or rotary wing aircraft.
Preferred Qualifications:
A thorough understanding of the DOD Acquisition process.
Experience on this particular Mission and Programs.
